This site comes from a desire for Christians to think in the right ways about God. I have been a pastor for several years and raised in the church. I have meet with many individuals and couples to help them through marriage crisis, death, illness, and suffering. Many face real challenges. Some challenges are self-inflected, others challenges are inflected by others.
Either way, I ask them about God and faith system. Faith system you ask? Because for those raised in the church know the right christianese answers. However, for many when I ask about a faith system, I get all sorts of answer. From I know and believe in Jesus Christ to I talk to the Man upstairs.
What I have come to understand is that many to do not have a solid foundation in their faith. They have many misconceptions about God. Most have come from a lack of Biblical knowledge, meaning they have not read their Bibles in parts or in whole. I will agree that there are many parts of the Bible that are complicated, and let’s be honest reading genealogies is not that exciting.
My hope from my writings, teachings and preachings will help all of us Think Rightly about God.
